My poor Baby!!!

So I am pretty sure I am the worst mother EVER!!! Usually when Olivia has a dirty diaper, I take it out to the big garbage outside. Well, yesterday afternoon, Olivia did her business and as I was getting ready to take it out when I passed the little garbage we have in the Family room. It was full and needed to be taken out so I threw the diaper in that trash intending to take it out when my sister called and said she needed to be picked up from work. So, needless to say, I left, and the garbage with the dirty diaper on top was forgotten. This is where my story begins: Last night my sister Noelle wanted to show me and a couple of my other siblings something on you tube. We all gathered around and started watching. I glanced down to see what Olivia was doing to find that she was innocently playing with a little booster seat.(next to the garbage) Seeing that she was fine, I continued to watch the video. As we were intensely staring at the screen waiting to see what the great white shark would attack next, My sister Noelle said "what is that smell? Did someone fart?" We all looked at eachother and of course no one took the blame. All of the sudden Nellie starts yelling "OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH!!!" I look down to where Olivia was, thinking that maybe she threwup all over the place or something like that but no, it was much worse. There Olivia was, sitting on the floor, an open diaper lying next to her, and a pile of Poop on the floor, in her hands, smeared on her face, and between her teeth!!!!! Yes, my little one year old had a nibble of her own Poop!! I washed her, brushed her teeth, and PRAYED that she waould not get sick. So far she seems to be doing fine but I'm still praying. I feel so awful that I let a stupid shark attack video get in the way of my mothering. I know we all make mistakes but come on! My daughter ate her poop!!! I really don't think that is forgiveable! Of cousrse Nellie, Noelle, and Bradley died laughing and all swore to never let her forget that she ate her own poop for an after dinner snack! I am so sorry Olivia! I love you forever!
